Yes, certified lifeguards are on duty during all open swim hours and program sessions. Safety is our top priority at the Gilroy CHS Aquatics Center.

We offer pool party area for $400. This area can host up to 40 people during our recreation swim times. Contact us at gilroy@swanaquatics.com to check availability.

The activity pool is maintained at 83°F and the competition pool at 81–82°F. Temperatures may vary slightly depending on weather conditions.

We offer swim lessons for all ages, from toddlers (with parent participation) through adults. Our group lessons are organized by age and skill level to ensure the best learning environment for every swimmer.

No refunds once a class has started or facility use has begun, except with a medical excuse. Medical excuse refunds are prorated based on remaining sessions.

Please bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early. Swim caps are optional but encouraged for children with longer hair.

We are located at 850 Day Road, Gilroy, CA 95020, on the campus of Christopher High School. The aquatics center has its own dedicated entrance and parking area.

Yes. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All participants swimming without parental or guardian supervision must be over 14 years of age.

Weekday sessions run 2 weeks (8 lessons total, 30 minutes each, up to 5 children per group). Weekend sessions cover 2–3 back-to-back weekends (4–6 lessons). Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early. Parents must stay in the picnic table area during lessons.

No make-up lessons are offered for group swim lessons, unless a pool-side cancellation resulted in less than half the scheduled lesson time. Private lesson rescheduling is handled directly with your instructor.

No, outside swim lessons are not permitted at CHS Aquatics Center. All swim instruction must be through our programs.

Passes include access to both the competition and activity pools during recreational swim hours, plus Aqua Fitness classes. Note: Aqua Yoga classes are not included and must be purchased separately.

We offer Lifeguard Certification ($325), Lifeguard Instructor Certification ($375), and Water Safety Instructor courses ($375). Each course has specific prerequisites. Contact us for upcoming course dates.
